M390 is a high end steel which is very tough, holds it's edge, has excellent wear and corrosion resistance and takes a razor sharp edge. The four inch clip point blade rides on high quality ceramic ball bearings, smooth and satisfying action with an addicting locking sound when it fires into the frame lock. The ergonomic handle is made with tumbled black 6AL4V titanium scales with carbon fiber inlays. If you're looking to upgrade your EDC with high end materials, incredible action and a badass look... congratulations, the Scorpion Blackout is your new everyday carry.
*Changes & Upgrades to the overall Scorpion Design: M390 Blade Steel (changed from S35VN), All Titanium Hardware- Ti Pocket Clip, Ti Screws, Added Titanium Screws to the Left Clip Side to Fill the Holes and Added Extra Clip Screws. Body screws now non-strip T8, and the clip screws are now flush with the scales.
This premium blade steel offers incredible edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. The blade is coated with DLC which adds wear and abrasion resistance, added hardness, anti-reflective properties & corrosion resistance. We added jimping on the thumb ramp for added cutting control. The Scorpion Clip Point blades are thin behind the edge, slicey with excellent piercing ability.
The Scorpion rides on premium ceramic bearings which creates a flipping action similar to a custom knife. The four inch blade will snap into the frame lock with buttery smooth, fast action. *Warning: High Fidget Factor & Satisfying Locking Sound* Flip once, and you'll be hooked.

Titanium is often used in custom high end knives. The handle, pocket clip & backspacer are all made of 6Al4V Titanium. This Grade 5 Ti has excellent corrosion resistance and extremely high strength-to-weight ratio. Used extensively in jet engines, space capsule components, pressure vessels, rocket engine cases, and helicopter rotor hubs. Bottom line, Titanium is a time tested, trusted material which takes the ELITE Scorpion Series to the next level.
