Thirdly, we made the hardware black with non-strip T8 titanium screws, and made the clip screws flush with a titanium deep carry pocket clip. The ELITE Scorpion Series is built by our friends at Bestech and we couldn't be happier with fit and finish and overall quality. The Scorpion blade rides on high quality ceramic bearings, smooth and excellent action with rock solid lock up. (The fidget factor is high.) The ergonomic handle is made of 6AL4V titanium with carbon fiber inlays to lighten the load and add a custom look & feel. The Scorpion Stratus V2 has a four inch blade with a clip point or reverse tanto shape. The V2 has been upgraded to M390 with Gunmetal Gray DLC coating. M390 offers incredible edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness. The DLC adds even more corrosion resistance and toughness with a sharp looking tumbled finish.
The scales are made of Grade 5 Titanium with Carbon Fiber inlays, a design signature of the Scorpion Elite Series. The large handle is 4.75" which offers plenty of room for even XL hands. We added two rows of jimping next to the titanium backspacer for a non-slip grip.
