(This is the same color combo of our new Stinger XL Coyote.) The Alpha-Dog has become a fan favorite for outdoor knife enthusiasts who love a massive, beefy, heavy duty, hard-use fixed blade. The clip-point blade has a very wide belly and aggressive jimping creating a tool that can carve, cut, split and perform just about any task involving outdoor survival. Don't let the 4.5 inch blade fool you, this knife was designed to chop like a large Kukri knife. The blade steel is our favorite Cryo D2 which offers excellent hardness (HRC 62), corrosion resistance and edge retention. We matched the sheath with the Coyote color which added more badassery to this tough fixed blade. *Fun fact: The Alpha-Dog eats Kabar BK2's for breakfast.
The Alpha-Dog uses 5mm thick, Cryogenic D2 steel which offers an excellent combination of edge performance, high hardness (HRC 62) and corrosion resistance...perfect for hard-use outdoor knives. The wide belly offers excellent cutting ability combined with chopping makes this blade an excellent camp knife.
Regardless of your hand size, the grip on this beast will comfortably fit XXL gloved hands or regular sized hands, the grip design was made for all day hard use. The Coyote G10 will not only look good, but it's texture creates a non-slip grip in all hard environments. We also added a pinch-grip so you can choke up for detailed work and even camp kitchen prep. Bonus, we added a lanyard hole for you lanyard fans.
