Built for hard-use, the Badger's Cryogenic D2 blade has a flat grind and a wide belly creating an excellent all purpose cutting knife. The properties of Cryo D2 steel combined with our heat treatment ensures a long run of hard-use without the need to sharpen. When your work calls for heavy duty action, use the safety Grid-Lock switch, engaging the Grid-Lock locks the blade in the open position, giving you a peace of mind no matter how hard you use the Badger.
D2 is very close to stainless with excellent corrosion resistance, incredible edge retention & wear resistance. The tumbled finish hides any wear & tear and creates a non-reflective steel surface. The Badger comes sharp out of the box and ready for immediate hard-use. The fat belly gives you a highly versatile blade for any tough job.
The Badger deploys by using the flipper tab with with your index finger, we added jimping on the tab for surefire deployment every time. Because of the ceramic ball bearings, the action is smooth and the blade will lock into place without any play.
